Please complete and submit the following Vertical Curve Exercise. This is the exercise that we started in class. The road starts at SV 0.0 at a level of 154.328mMSL. The road has two vertical curves(VC's) and the following information has been supplied:
VC1: Gradient G1=-3.5% and Gradient G2=+1.5% with a curve length L=120m and the ?PIVC1 at SV=60.
VC2: PIVC2 is at SV16Om and the curve has a curve length L=60m. The final gradient C2=-2%
The road ends at SV=190m.
Assume the road is a 2-lane road with each lane 3.4m wide.
Calculate the longitudinal section utilizing two scenarios. Each scenario needs to be placed in a table format indicating Description, SV, LHS, CL and RHS levels.
Scenario 1: camber of 2.4% and Scenario 2: Crossfall L-R 3%
