Question:
Please create a Tree for this Create a decision tree for the scenario you outlined in Topic 1 DQ 1. Attach the decision tree to your response and include insights into how you crafted it. How would you apply this decision-making experience to larger scale decisions at an organizational level?
My DQ 1 response was the following: I'll use a decision model to help me choose what to wear each day. I have to think about things like the weather, where I'm going, how comfortable I'll be, and what style I like. I want to make a good choice that balances all these factors.
I'm going to use the BRAIN model. It stands for Benefits, Risks, Alternatives, Information, and Nothing. For each outfit option, I'll ask myself these five questions:
- What are the good things about wearing this outfit?
- What are the possible problems or risks with wearing this outfit?
- Are there other outfit options I could consider?
- What information do I need to make a decision?
- What might happen if I don't decide or delay making a decision?
By answering these questions, I can compare the positives and negatives of each outfit and figure out which one fits my preferences and needs the best.
