HR Recruitment process

The company is in e-commerce business. The company makes annual plans for recruitment and the recruitment process starts with the annual plan. Based on the plan, HR Specialist holds discussions with the Department heads for the required qualifications of the new hires. HR Manager gets approval from Department Heads about these qualifications. Based on the requirements, the positions are put in intranet for internal candidates and also the requirements are sent to the headhunter for External candidates. The CVs are collected accordingly, put in the HR system and the CVs are shortlisted. The shortlist is sent to the Department Head for review and identify the candidates for interview. The HR specialist calls the candidates in the list and the first screening is made on the phone. Then the first interview is performed with the candidate by the HR Specialist. If the position is a Manager or above position, HR Manager is also involved in the interviews. The suitable candidates are interviewed by the Department Head. If the candidate is successful in the interview, some tests (personality, general competency and English proffiency) are done by the candidate and the results are being evaluated by the HR and Department Head. If the candidate is not found adequate at any stage, a rejection mail is sent. According to all the tests and interviews, the suitable candidate is found and a reference check is performed based on the references given by the candidate. All the results of these stages are put in the HR system. Then the offer is prepared and reviewed by the HR Manager. Then the offer is sent to the candidate. If the offer is accepted, the candidate is asked to provide the signed offer. According to the agreed starting date, necessary documents such as diploma, certificates, health report, criminal record are prepared and submitted by the new hire. Then the personal card is creted in the HR system and orientation process starts.
