Copyright @ 2021, Ivey Business School Foundation Version: 2021-09-28 In February 2020, Jim Martin, director of Global Creative Intelligence at McCormick \& Company, Inc. (McCormick), an American multinational flavours and spices company, was examining the way forward with the company's product development initiatives involving the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
