Think of at least one other simple consumer product like those shown here and list a few customer benefits that are not yet satisfied or are underserved. Develop this into a simplified product protocol (list of benefits that the new product must deliver). Which of these benefits might pose a real engineering challenge that you would have to overcome in order to have a successful new product? Would any desired benefits lead to engineering or design trade-offs?
