Introduction
Consuming Kids is a 2008 documentary about marketing to kids. The documentary is 66 minutes long. Chapter 6 is about the regulatory and ethical environment of promotions. Based on your review of Chapter 6 and the documentary, you will write a 2-page paper in which you form an opinion about marketing to kids. You can look at other resources beyond the text and documentary for this assignment, but they are not required. If you do, youll need to cite those resources. With the proliferation of tablets, phones, etc., researching the last ten years is a great extension beyond the documentary. My children learn about many cool (in their words not mine) toys with pop-ups advertisements from their iPads.
