Research and find a recent (2023 or newer) environmental topic local to where you live or have lived. You will briefly describe the problem, what and who it impacts, and why it is a problem. You can produce either a brief PowerPoint or a paper. The PowerPoint should be around 3-5 slides long, and the paper should be about 3-4 paragraphs (300-800 words). You should cover: Where and when is the environmental problem impacting? Is it global, local, regional, etc.? Is it new or has it been going on for a while? * What is the environmental problem? How does this impact humans? What parts of the environment are being impacted (humans, biology, soils, water, etc.)? Do you think this problem is getting better or worse? Why? Remember to include your sources. You should find information from at least 3 separate sources (these can be different articles from the same news agency, however, and this can include sources that cover the environmental topic more generally)
