As they are preparing to play in their first playoff game, rumors have begun circulating among fans and some journalists on social media that Bluth was seen at a local nightclub doing illegal drugs after the teams last win to clinch the playoff berth. No one has been able to produce photographic or video evidence of this, and when questioned by team officials, Bluth denied the allegations and provided an alibi for where he was on the evening in question. His alibi was confirmed by his wife. The team officials feel certain that the allegations are false and Bluth did not engage in any illegal drug use.
