According to the Political Risk Map (PRM) 2020, Bolivia, Venezuela, and major parts of North Africa are the most politically risky countries and Amazon operates in those regions. Furthermore, according to the Economical Risk Map (ERM) 2020, Argentina, Venezuela, and almost all of Africa is the most economically risky countries. However, after analyzing the PRM 2020 and the ERM 2020, Amazon operates more in countries that are more economically risky since the countries that the company operates are more economically unstable. Although Amazon is one of the largest, fast-growing, and is a trillion-dollar company, it is still vulnerable to these risks. For example, there has been controversy where India may limit Amazon's use. Policymakers are debating whether an e-commerce giant like amazon should be welcomed in. This international risk is not only happening in India but also with regulators in Europe with the fear that the U.S. market is rapidly growing which in turn would increase foreign sales. Amazon has also faced scrutiny from Germany announcing that they were implementing an antitrust investigation. This push-back will affect the company's operations considering they are important markets that amazon has committed billions to.
