Hello everyone, I currently work as a 7th grade Tx History teacher, so that I will be talking about my brother's company, senior moving experts I worked for before I started teaching. My brother started a moving company in 2021 to help local senior citizens and move people around Dallas. I was a sales representative when I worked for him, so I found his clients: I would go to senior home, posts on social media, which ended up being pretty successful. Now that it has been up for three years, they have started moving across the united states, which makes a pretty good profit with many people moving here from other states. The business has only thrived. With moving companies, You must consider moving trucks' costs, gas, boxes, materials, moving people's furniture, etc. There is a risk factor because you never know when something might break, so the company is reliable. If I were the CEO of this company, since this is still a relatively new company, I would ensure I have an excellent marketing team in place. Keeping an eye on cost moving can be very expensive to ensure his company is successful. The company I grew up with that my parents and I would go to every weekend is a family video, basically the same as a blockbuster were you go to a movie store and pick out a movie. There were no streaming services like Netflix, HBO Max, and Hulu, where you could just rent a movie straight from your Home, but as technology improved and people realized that they no longer needed to drive anywhere to find a movie, they could rent right from their couch. I personally loved going to the movie store. You got to pick out candy and drinks and then watch a few movies during the weekend. It's one of my favorite childhood memory .Overall, I don't think Blockbuster or any other movie store can be successful with every streaming service today because of renting out building spaces and having to think about the revue and they cant keep up with todays market
