QUESTION 2 Q2 (a) Al Reem tourism services, Muscat has an automated tour management system that has rental car booking and hotel booking facilities on it.It permits the users to choose the tourism spots to visit in Muscat and Nizwa. New users are permitted to access the system after registration and existing users can access by entering their login details. The users are able to search: the availability of cars, their rents per hour/day, capacity of the cars etc. and also the hotel rooms, facilities, their rates. It allows the users to book the required cars and hotels by paying the advance in online using their valid bank card through online at least 24 hours before they need it and sends the bill to be paid by the user Once the bill amount is paid by the users, the system sends message to the car rental company and hotel chosen by the user with which Al Reem tourism company has a tie up. Once the message is received, the car rental company ensures the proper functioning of the car, fills fuel and sends to the car to Al Reem Company. The car key can be collected by the user as per the booked timing. The chosen hotel cleans the room and keeps it ready for the user. Once the user hand overs the car, Al Reem tourism checks the condition of the car and according to the damage caused by the user if any, and additional charges will be collected accordingly.
