** Please solve all*
Just as a point of explanation, one main point for this project is to get some practical experience with AI, prompt engineering and Copilot.
Please pay careful attention to all directions and instructions. You will be graded both of the project and your adherance to the instructions. Note, you are being asked to attach four files to this task (one Word document and two Excel files).
Research Element
1) Use Microsoft Copilot to look up historical monthly gas prices in NJ, OPEC projections for oil output, and projected miles driven. Document your various Copilot prompts (the questions ask) in a Word document named "Copilot prompts" which you can attach to this assignment in Canvas (deliverable 1)
2) Load data into Excel and analyze your data. Make a projection on the future price of a gallon of gas for the rest of 2024,2025,2026, and 2027. Note: There is no right answer for this projection, although linking it to an Excel function like the linear or other growth trend method you learned in BITM supported by the current Consumer Price Index or your opinoin on gas prices and demand to make your projection. Make at least one Excel chart stating your projection based on these factors. Name this document "Gas Price Analysis) and attach it to this assignment in Canvas (deliverable 2).
3) Use the data about and Excel financial functions to make a determination and recommendation about what type of car to buy to minimize overall transportation costs (e.g. purchase price, cost of driving the stated number of miles) using the following assumptions. Do this in a second Excel file named "Vehicle Analysis" (deliverable 3)
Assumption: Miles driven per year: 25000
Option 1
Traditional gas car. $30000. Miles per gallon for this car: 25 MPG
Option 2.
Hybrid car. $50000. MPG: Miles per gallon for this car: 45 MPG
Option 3
Electric Car. $75000. Cost per mile to operate: $0.06 per gallon.
4) Identify seven entities one might include in a data model if one was going to build a database application to store data on this business question. Attach this to the task as a Word document named "Project Data Entities" (deliverable 4)
