1) You have received the following message from your place of employment- BIGJOB. Dear BIGJOB Colleagues, We appreciate the invaluable contributions made by our employees over the past year. We recognize that our success at BIGJOB is dependent upon our people, who truly are our greatest assets. We also know your paycheck does not go as far this year as it did last year. With high gas prices, rising housing costs, and general inflation, we know compensation is top of mind for most employees. While the marketplace has been changing quickly, we remain committed to our goal of providing our employees with a comprehensive and competitive compensation program. Beginning my first day at BIGJOB, employees have been sharing concerns and asking questions about compensation. We have recently completed a compensation study for our administrative and support staff employees. In reviewing the data and deciding what action to take, our first goal is to get all employees to at least 80% of market midpoint, that is 80% of the way to each position's market median, by this fall. To achieve this goal, 7% of our employee population will receive increases in addition to our across-the-board increase. We are also committing to give all eligible administrative and support staff employees a 2.5% increase effective October 1, 2022. As you may know, market conditions are also impacting our revenue, causing significant budget constraints. Although our institutions are unable to absorb the cost of bringing all employees closer to the market in one year, we will continue to work toward that goal.
