MKTG 1221 Assignment 2: Consumers often play different roles within a family (or household) decision making unit. For this assignment you are to use your own personal frame of reference - your specific household environment, to answer the questions below. Think about your own family/household as you consider the purchase of a cell phone. 1. Identify and discuss which role(s) the members of your family/household would play (initiator, information gatherer, influencer, decision maker) in the purchase of one of the following purchases: cell phone, vehicle, or computer. Discuss the influence that your own family household dynamics would have on this purchase decision.
