This discussion focuses on a significant challenge in leadership, which is facing a crisis that poses a significant threat of some kind. Examples include natural disasters, product recalls, or employee strikes. Ethical leaders focus their efforts in a crisis on facilitating an effective response to the crisis. Dutch researchers Boin, Kuipers, and Overdjik have created a Crisis Leadership Scorecard that measures how well a leader managed the organization's response to a crisis (Johnson, 2021). In at least three paragraphs, supported by evidence in your text and from other credible research, respond to the following bullet points.

• Visit Crisis Leadership Scorecard Download Crisis Leadership Scorecard and choose one of the crises from the given list and provide a brief synopsis of the crisis and the leader(s) responding to the crisis. If you wish to analyze a crisis that is not on the list, reach out to your instructor for approval.
• Using the Crisis Leadership Scorecard in Box 12.1, evaluate how well the leader(s) during this crisis scored on at least four aspects of the scorecard.
• Based on your scores for this leader, evaluate how ethical this leader was in handling this crisis.
