Required: For the following sections $($W$12$X$45,$ C$15$X$50,$ S$20$X$96,$

HSS$10$X$3(1)/(2)$X$(1)/(2))$ determine:

Part A$.$ The ASTM Specification that is most commonly used for the

section

Part B: The minimum yield strength and tensile strength of the

material

Part C: The magnitude of the applied uniform load that will

initiate yielding in the beam. Do not forget to account for the

existing self$-$weight!
