Problem Statement

You have been asked to interview for the eSports team-manager position at Acme University. In preparation for your interview, the board member who you have been in contact with sent you a list of interview questions. At the top of the list, you see the question What is your ethical philosophy for coaching a collegiate team

You are tasked with detailing your ethical standards for a competitive eSports community you are interviewing to coach.

Steps to complete the task

1. Think about student-athlete well-being, professional development, standards of sportsmanship and fair play in competition.
2. Define the goals your team will aim to achieve:
   • What are your goals as a team leader?
   • How do you plan to achieve these goals?
   • Why it is important that you are approaching it this way, and not in some other way.
3. Create a hypothetical narrative about an ethical dilemma you might face as a team manager in which you will have to make a difficult, but ethically sound decision using at least 300 words. This narrative will eventually be used to answer a question about ethics in your job interview.
