Project Information: Gas Station Construction Project Using the information given in Tables 1&2 and Figure 1 shown below, develop a precedence notation CPM network for the described gas station project. Certain logical relationships are implied by the work breakdown structure (Figure 1: W33) and work packages (Table 1) that have been supplied to you by the field superintendent who has been chosen to run the job. According to contract specifications your company must submit a network scheduling (CPM) to the owner. Knowing that you are a CPM expert, your boss has given you the job of setting up the network. He also has asked you to set up the logic relationship between activities based on Table 1 & Figure 1 and calculate the project duration in working days. The duration of each activity is shown in Table 2. Assume that the project starts on December 1, 2021, which is a Wednesday. Workdays are Monday through Friday. Questions: 1- Please, give a detailed analysis of why and recommend the most suitable project delivery / procurement system and the appropriate pricing scheme (contract type) that can be proposed to accomplish the work according to your company's perspective. 2- Prepare a network diagram including the logic relationship among activities and determine the minimum possible project duration. Manually, calculate ES. EF, LS, LF, TF, and FF for each activity and show critical path. Show the project end calendar date. 3- Show the latest time you can complete the building frame in order to start the exterior brick work and roof.
