Project Management ePortfolio - individual assignment (25%) The ePortfolio will allow you to focus on whichever field of study is of interest to you while reflecting on your previous courses and any projects you have been involved in during the certificate program. The ePortfolio is also useful for promoting yourself as a young professional, as it can be linked in your job applications as a demonstration of your competencies. Keep this assignment in mind as you progress through this course, as you may want to start collecting 'evidence' (examples of your work) early! A template for sections 3 and 4 is provided on Moodle, along with a partially filled out example. This assignment is worth 30 points for 25% of your final grade. Section 1 - Project management profile (4 marks): Incorporate your reflection paper as the first section of your ePortfolio but update and expand on any sections that need it. In particular, the section on your project management approach should go into more detail about potential challenges, tasks, etc. that you might encounter and how you would address them, referring to project management tools, methods, and/or concepts as relevant to strengthen your demonstration of knowledge in the field. This section should be about 2 pages in length. Section 2 Stakeholder engagement profile (10 marks): Describe the field of practice you see yourself working in after graduation, including a description of the kinds of projects you would take on in this field (3 marks). Then, explain what strategies you would prefer to use to work alongside internal stakeholders (e.g., team members and project collaborators) from other disciplines (3 marks). Conclude this section with a description of strategies you would use to engage with external stakeholders of different cultures and demographics (4 marks). This section should be 3-4 pages in length Section 3 Critical reviews (5 marks): Summarize your three scenario papers into this section of the ePortfolio (see the template and sample on Moodle). In this section, you will use half of each page to summarize the context and issues at hand, and in the other half of each page you will summarize how you would have handled the situation if you were the project manager in each scenario. This section should be 3-4.5 pages in length (1-1.5 pages for each scenario). Section 4 Project management competencies (10 marks): Fill out the project management matrix template on Moodle (3 marks), followed by a brief description of any evidence you have that demonstrate your competencies (5 marks). Evidence might include discussion forum conversations, assignments you completed for other courses, your own research or research assistantship experiences, or professional work examples. Include these examples as appendices after Section 4 (2 marks). The length of this section and its appendices depends on how many examples of your previous work you include, but the matrix should be roughly a page long followed by descriptions that are up to two paragraphs long for each example you include. References (1 marks for references and general grammar/formatting).
