PROJECT START UP

1. Form an Agile team: Form a team, name your team, volunteer for Agile roles as Product Owner, Scrum master, Dev team
2. Make a Product Vision: Using template we discussed in class
3. Make your initial Product Backlog: Create initial product backlog items with 3 User Stories; Order your product backlog. As a team exercise, estimate the size of your backlog items with Story Points -add story points to each user story using the Fibonacci sequence (also called planning poker)

SPRINT PLANNING

1. For each of the 3 user stories Break down the user stories into at least 3 tasks. Explanation as discussed in class These tasks are those that will complete the user story. For example, if I want to list the tasks for the following user story in a project to build a house : "As a parent, I want an outdoor bar b q deck so that I can enjoy time with my family". The tasks are those to complete the user story, or, in other words - build the deck. Tasks could be: 1. Design the deck, 2. Determine how much materials to build the deck, 3. Obtain quote for wood from 3 suppliers 4. Select supplier 5 . Pick up wood 6. build deck.
2. Add estimates to each Task in hours - you will simply 'guesstimate this' Below is an example that from real project
