Customer Segments:
As a team we have researched one the most innovative Anti-nail polish in the market. We are going to target women between the ages of 16 and 32 due to the increased percentage of assault on women in the United States (US Bureau of Statistics and FBI 2019). According to Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, in the United States eighty percent victims of forced sex cases were women within their early twenties to the early thirties (Bureau of Justice Statistics 2020). Forty percent have been victimised by their close partner while sixty percent have been stalked and assaulted by a stranger during a night out or followed on the streets. While Smith et al. (2018) have found an estimated 2.0 million men have completed a physical assault report that their first experience happened prior to age 25. It is worth noting that the numbers can be higher as some cases have not been registered correctly and underreported due to the use of drugs and women think it’s their fault. A study was conducted by the National Institute of Justice (2007), which found 60% of those who were sex victims while studying in university and between fifty percent to ninety percent at high school grounds. Vast majority of those encounters occurred during school parties, school graduations and social gatherings when students are under the influence of alcohol. US Bureau of Statistics and FBI (2019) found in 2018, 101,157 women were sexually abused between the ages of 18 years old and 32 years old. This is the highest likelihood found in an assault and forcible sex cases found to be desirable target market. Our Anti forced sex nail polish can be used by the women who are between age 18 years old and 32years old to assist us to identify the relevant impact to our target market due to increase of 27.2 percent unwanted sextual contact and 42.2 percent of sex assault case before the age of 18 years. (RAINN and NSVRC 2018).
Forced sex has enormous effects on the individual and society. Approximately 94% of women and 35% of men report significant short- or long-term impacts such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (RAINN 2018) According to National Sextual Violence Resource Centre 2018 rape costs the U.S. more than any crime (approximately $127 billion USD Annually).

Our primary reason why we are designing Anti-forced sex nail polish is because there has been a high tolerance of sextual harassment which made the women’s journey in public space very hard to manage due to the alarming statistics continues to increase. We have conducted research to provide women to take the advantage to live her life without harm and free of violence. Looking at the study many women and men experiencing physical manipulation to sextual attack, violence against women and men should not be accepted in any society. Our mission is to raise and promote social and cultural norms that protect against violence by challenging negative behaviour and providing support to those individuals to encourage them to make their own decisions when it comes to drinking. Majority of individuals lack the ability to make right decisions when they are intoxicated, this awareness will assist them to identify the ability to notice any unaware ingredients in their drink and making sure they are aware of their surroundings. These tools can assist in reduction of victimisation during a night out and making them look out for the safety of their peers.
The method of date sex assault is notoriously difficult to detect by the victim. A large proportion of these incidents during night outs occur where a seductive drug is placed in the victim’s drink without their knowledge. These customised drugs include Flunitrazepam, Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid, Gamma-Butyrolactone, and Ketamine. Most of these drugs, once placed in the drink, will have no observable taste, smell or colour making it difficult for the victim to identify. Most of the reported sex assaults occur in women who attended parties on college premises including university campuses. The drugs can cause dizziness to the victim which makes it difficult to know their surroundings, exposed to the opportunity of being attacked and defending themselves against unwanted sextual contact. Throughout the alarming statistics we have been motivated to produce this Anti forced sex nail polish in order to provide more protection to individuals and to improve the early awareness for unwanted sextual behaviors. This clear nail polish changes colour to black when it comes with contact with sedative drugs. In order to treat all genders equally we have shown our commitment to gender equality and non-discrimination, on gender grounds we have designed this nail polish for individuals to use before they are going out. This advanced technology will empower women to look after their safety by simply dipping her finger in her drink or her friend’s drink. If that nail colour changes, it can assist her that her drink or her friends have been spiked with a drug. We have concluded that internet technologies have a positive influence on people and business globally. We will set up an online website through Shopify, which is an eCommerce provider that gives people a way to list, manage product and categorize data. It is the easiest way for our website to be found online. We will use Shopify as it is the hosting platform, it is easy to use by concentrating on the design and building the online Store. Our primary channels of promotion will be using social media technologies such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat to deliver paid/promoted ads directly. According to Clement, there are more than 240 active Facebook accounts, more than seventy nine percent using their Facebook accounts doing shopping online on daily basis in just U.S (Statista 2019). According to Clement, Statista and BeLVG 2019, they have found that 170 million people using social media such as Facebook to do their online shopping. Nevertheless, there are many millenniums who fall between the age of 18 to 30 using their snapchat and Instagram more than three times a day browsing the internet (Clement 2020). Throughout an intensive research we have found that most preferred customers use FEDEX and DHL to deliver parcels to their houses. We will primarily use DHL as it cheaper domestically, quick guaranteed same day delivery for domestic and international shipping and more pick-up and drop-off locations globally than FEDEX (Jules 2019). In summary, we will use e-commerce channels by creating a Shopify website to sell the nail polish, send ads to our target market via Facebook, Instagram and snapchat, and lastly, deliver our product via FEDEX and DHL. Furthermore, after year of anniversary we will access our success in order to sell our clear nail polish to Amazon.com, expand globally using DHL International services and Amazon.com and joining a campaign in few organisations that support individuals who have experienced sex abuse in their teens. We will use Bluebeam.com which is a software to assist us designing an image of our product and designing our webpage.

It is important for us as a company to make sure that we have a strong relationship and
understanding on what the customer wants and how they feel about our product. Our product is a
gender-neutral clear coat nail polish that allows anyone to feel safe whilst going out with friends
to a bar or a club. According to Forbes.com, Customers should be our focus when creating our
marketing plan. Also, we must make sure that we personalise each relationship, exactly for that
person. The way we will interact with our customers is communicating, getting feedback and even
having our loyal customer test some of our prototype items, to see if they are viable in the future.
We value our customers very highly, as our product is all about protecting them in a manner that
is logical in today’s society. We want to show and prove that they can trust us, and we will listen
to what people have to say. A good example of customer relationships is Apple. As proven by
