As an administrative professional, your responsibilities may include planning meetings. You may need to determine the purpose of the meeting, set the objectives, determine who should attend, plan the agenda, and establish the time and place. A well-planned agenda saves time and increases productivity in a meeting.
Instructions
You are an administrative assistant, and your supervisor asked you to create an agenda for an upcoming meeting that you will lead. You are to key the agenda for the meeting described below. Include 4 fictitious names as attendees (committee members) in addition to those speaking. Every agenda should include the following information:
Name of the group, department, or committee
Date and time of the meeting
Location of the meeting
The items to be discussed, in order of presentation
The individual responsible for presenting each agenda item
Background materials (if needed)
Use the following information to create your agenda:
