Purpose: The purpose of the reflection assignment is to demonstrate your understanding of OB and the connection to a real-life situation. For this assignment you will select an OB from the list below to complete your assignment on. You will describe the OB topic and related concepts, connect your concepts to a real-life example and identify two recommendations for the example you outline. It is critical to link in OB concepts throughout your reflection. The Assignment Your assignment should be a maximum of 800 words in 12- point font using proper APA format. Your eText should be your only source. The following provides an overview of the structure of your paper: Section 1: OB Topic Overview (approx. 300 words) In this section you will use your own words to describe what you have learned from the OB topic. It is critical to integrate OB concepts learned about your topic area and bold all OB concepts explored in this section. You can reference your textbook using proper in text citations. In this section it is important to demonstrate your understanding about the OB topic by reflecting on your thoughts, reactions and perspective on the topic area.

OB Topics: Personality Emotions Perceptions Values Attitudes Motivation Rewards Job Design Power Organizational Politics Section 2: Application with Real Life Example (approx. 250 words) In Section 2 you will describe a real-life experience that relates to your OB topic. This can be your own experience in an organization, or the experience of a family member, friend or colleague. It is important to establish clear connections between your example and your OB topic by connecting in OB concepts into your real-life example. It is required that you bold the OB concepts so that you can visibly see you are connecting enough concepts into your paper. Section 3: Recommendations (approx. 250 words) In this section identify two recommendations that apply to your example. The recommendations outline strategies you would recommend for the example you shared (this could include improvements, continuing good practices etc). The recommendations should have OB concepts linked in and clearly outlined the connection to our learning. The OB concepts you connect can be from anything learned to date in class and OB concepts must be bolded to demonstrate your learning.
