Purpose

This assignment is intended to help you learn to do the following:

• Plan and organize a report from a manager's point of view.
• Articulate your business decisions clearly.

Overview

Over the length of the course, you will complete a 5-to 7-page report where you analyze a company or organization's strategic errors or successes. You will complete this paper as a polished report you could submit to a leadership team. You will also create a presentation based on your analysis during the last module of the course.

Action Items

1. Choose a company or organization you would like to use for your analysis. Consider the following elements before you choose:
   1. You will be analyzing two of the organization's strategic managerial failures and/or successes from the last decade, so be sure to choose one that has identifiable failures or successes.
   2. Consider choosing a company you may want to work with in the future or one that's captured your interest.
2. Once you have chosen your company or organization, choose the platform you will use to create a polished report.
   1. The platform can be Canva, Word, InDesign - whatever tool you are most comfortable with.
   2. Review the attached examples from Canvaand MS Word.
3. Complete part 1 of your report by creating a title page similar to ones in the examples provided.
4. Then, in 1 page:
   1. Identify the company.
   2. Give a brief history of the organization including:
      1. When it was established
      2. Its mission, vision, values, and goals
      3. What it sells, provides, or creates
      4. Why you chose it
5. By the due date indicated, submit this first part of your assignment.
   1. Note that you'll be adding to the report every module, so keep a copy of it you can add to.
