For testing, water is made to enter (discharge) into the bore hole at the rate 0.8 m/min under a pressure head of 2 m. Determine co-efficient of permeability of the soil in cm/sec. Hint: this assignment is related to field tests (pumping-in tests) for determining co- efficient of permeability of soil. Study pages 91 and 92 of the uploaded notes (week 6,7 and 8 lectures)
