The company takes the car safety very seriously where all cars are test drive and comply with the safety laws and policies. Though the company had ensured safety is tested, the breaking system did not work due to the material bought from third party. Careta Bhd, are aware on the changes of material use for the break. Report from the supplier shows that the new break works the same as the old ones and the cost of the break reduced by 20%. Ramizah the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Careta Bhd had urged customers who have bought Kertz model to immediately send the car to their authorized dealer, where they will immediately replace the cars break. In order to safeguard customers safety and avoid further incidents, Careta Bhd recall Kertz model for break replacement at no cost and the customer had been given 10% instant refund out of the full price. Kertz model had been sold around the world since last two years. The car was awarded the best car model with the best safety. Investigation had found out the report from the supplier had been falsified by the research and testing department. Due to the case, Careta Bhd had changed its supplier and strictly tests the car according to the high safety standard.
