Question 1 Answer all of the questions below. Q.1.1 Discuss the purpose of a System Vision Document in your own words. Q.1.2 Q.1.3 Q.1.4 Q.1.5 Q.1.6 Q.1.7 Discuss the purpose of Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) in building secured web applications. Distinguish between usability and reliability requirements. (Marks: 20) Name a system development approach in which the core processes of the SDLC are (2) repeated for each component. Define what Graphical Models are and list two examples used to present system requirements during system analysis and design. There are different types of events to consider when using the Event Decomposition Technique. Define what Event Decomposition Technique is and distinguish between external and state events. Distinguish between an abstract and concrete class. Question 2 The questions below relate to the following case study: System: Production Accounting System (2) (4) (2) (4) (4) (2) (Marks: 20) Maredi Tires Inc is a Mpumalanga based tire manufacturing company with customers all over the country. Directors and Executive Management of Maredi Tires decided to focus on Digital Platforms to interact with their tire customers. There is a Project underway to develop a Production Accounting System to improve their operations and handling of online sales from customers including dispatching of the tires. Most of the Office and Admin work happens from the Mpumalanga Headquarters to process customer sales from all over the country. The Mpumalanga 21; 22; 23 Office has a Production Manager, Production Accountants, Financial Accountants and Product Specialists. 2022 The Production Accounting System has numerous modules or subsystems namely The Sales SubSystem, Dispatch SubSystem, Catalog Management SubSystem and Compensation Management SubSystem. The main modules or subsystems are the Sales SubSystem and Dispatch SubSystem. The Sales Management Process will start with the Sales SubSystem Saving the Tire Order, once the Sales is saved, and the sub-system then verifies the tires quantity. The order is then processed and forwarded to the Dispatch SubSystem. Dispatch SubSystem receives the order, verifies the order and checks the stock in the tires inventory. If there is no stock in the Inventory, the Order is sent back to the Sales SubSystem for rejection. If there is stock in the Inventory, the Dispatch SubSystem fulfils the Order. The Production Accountants are excited about the new system especially The Dispatch SubSystem as they would also be using it to capture a bill of material, order rubber from suppliers, receive invoices from suppliers, approve supplier invoices and pull inventory reports. At the moment, they are heavily reliant on Excel Spreadsheets to perform some of their tasks. The details that are captured and stored about the Order are order number to identify the order, the packing slip number to identify the tires in the inventory, the ship date to stipulate the customer's preferred delivery date, net amount for the money the customer will pay for the overall order, mode of delivery chosen by the customer and quantity of the order. On the other hand, details that are captured and stored about the customer are customer number to uniquely identify the customer, the name of the customer, customer identity number, the account number, telephone number and email address. Q.2.1 Based on the sales management process described in the case study, develop (20) an activity diagram. Question 3 (Marks: 20) Some of the questions below are still based on the Production Accounting System case study in Question 2. Q.3.1 Q.3.2 Identify all the use cases related to The Sales SubSystem and develop a use case diagram. Analyse the case study and draw a domain class diagram using the correct UML notation to present the association between the customer and sales classes. Please include all attributes per class in camelcase notation. END OF PAPER (10) (10) Question 1 Answer all of the questions below.
