Use either ERD or EERD or both modeling methods
The Chestnut Hill Mall has several coin-operated machines located on different floors. There are only two types of machines: one for candy and one for cold drinks; no machine has a mix of the two types. Food suppliers come to the Mall to replenish the machines with delicious products. The Mall uses many suppliers who may or may not stock all products; although there are many suppliers who stock the same products. For cold drinks machines, since products are refrigerated, the supplier must take a temperature reading of each machine at the time of stocking the drinks. Food products are known by name, category, description, and price. Suppliers change prices often and do not sell the same product at the same price. The database must keep track of price changes as well as the changing dates. Supplier information includes the supplier name, and phone number, but not their address. Candy products have a preferred supplier and an alternate supplier. The preferred supplier can only stock the machines on every other Tuesday. Each machine is known by its unique serial number, and floor location. Management needs to know all suppliers stocking activities in different machines, pricing, stocked quantity per product, stocking date among other valuable information.
