The growth was led by an increased issuance by the government (+17.0 per cent or RM46.5 billion) despite a 41.8 per cent decline for the corporate sector. The Malaysian Sukuk market expanded 11.1 per cent year-on-year to RM827.8 billion as of end-September 2020 (end-September 2019: RM745.2 billion).
