Your Managing Director (MD) has asked you to analyze and recommend appropriate sales promotional strategy for the product. He specifically asked that you outline Four (4) possible areas the sales promotional strategic analysis will cover and recommend with justification, Two (2) appropriate promotional strategies for the product. Provide your response to the MD. (20 marks)

Implementation plan is an integral part of strategic marketing planning. Without a wellstructured implementation plan that propels the process, strategic marketing plans will suffer implementation lapses. Your Managing Director has requested you to train newly employed marketing staff on:

  1. Four (4) significance of preparing an implementation plan when preparing a strategic marketing plan (4 marks)
  2. With the aid of assumptions prepare an assumed plan of implementation as part of the training material using a Gantt chart or any appropriate chart that will assist you lay out the Task, Responsibility, Budget etc. appropriately in the implementation plan. Fill out all the rows and columns in the chart. The rows should not be less than six.
