These have tight timelines and a restricted budget. This environment puts high pressure on you. You cannot afford to have any staff members not pulling their weight, sticking to timelines or delivering quality research work. As you do every week, on Monday morning you meet staff members to share information and request feedback on progress. On Monday, 15 March, two of the team members refuse to provide feedback. On enquiry, it seems that they cannot deal with the pressure put on them. They also feel that you do not recognise their performance and do not provide any reward for their hard work. They announce that they have decided to start a 'computer-down strike' and no further work will be done unless their demands are met.
