Cameron and Quin would have called it an Adhocracy in their competing Values Model. The Software company were the ones who first spotted the potential to revolutionise the usefulness of one of the Engineering company's products with updated software and proposed working together in partnership. But the Engineering company team are more of a Clan. They are long term thinkers, developing people for the future, investing without demanding immediate returns. They are doing that now taking on some staff in the UK to supplement their team with local talent prepared to work there long term.
