Back in the day stamp were popular to collect. Some people still collect stamp , they are valuable. But it was a big business in mid 20th century. The elder, founder, HRH, the founder ran a dictatorship. He actually found the company In 1900. There the company was actually in 1890, gives an indication he was quite elderly when all these things were going on. He held majority of shares with wife and wife always voted with him. He had directors, he made his son directors and shareholders so he is willing to share profits with them, but wasnt willing to share controls. Essentially he exercised power and did things like selling off a profitable business in aussie without permission from the board, buying un profitable bus in UK without the permission of the board. Eventually they had enough and took him court and court found oppression. So he was essentially running like a dictatorship
