Key roles in organisational change
Who are the persons who initiate organisational change to accelerate its implementation and
ensure its seamless execution? Several characters play their parts. This includes both external
and internal roles. The consultants internal resource persons, corporate management, and
implementation team are the six primary functions of various change agents in relation to
organisational transformation. A consultant or team of consultants typically comes from
outside, but they can also be insiders. Even if the expert is an outsider, certain members of the
organisation collaborate with him. These persons have the same competence as the consultant,
or at least seek to develop it In many organisations, these individuals are referred to as Internal
Resource Persons IRP or facilitators. Much greater emphasis should be paid to the work of
the IRP, as there are various important concerns to consider.
