I. Microsoft Project Plan (25%): Based on the information contained in the case study Exhibits, prepare a project plan for A&D High Tech. Be sure to enter all task as well as resources, resource costs and dependencies.

II. MS Project Reports (25%): Generate the following reports from MS Project based on your project plan from Item I above. These reports are standard within MS Project and do not require unique preparation. We will review reports in a later chapter. III. Narrative Response (50%): Prepare a written response of 2-3 pages to the following questions: The CIO needs to determine whether the proposed project can be completed in time for the holiday shopping season. You, as the newly appointed project manager, have taken over and gathered all components of the plan to assess a response to the following questions (Assume no holidays and ignore the sunk costs of the planning team's efforts.

1. What is the projected completion date? 2. What is the total project cost? How much of those costs are labor and how much are capital? What can you say about the labor allocations? 3. What is the project's critical path? What are the major risk elements associated with this project, how would you assess the level of risk? 4. What is your conclusion on the potential for completing the project on time? What options might you propose to either get the project on track or other alternatives to salvage this project?
