You will be lifted by the air flow in the flight chamber and once in a stable position, you will be able to move around. iFLY can replicate almost perfectly the free-fall portion of a skydiver's jump. In fact, iFLY so closely resembles what skydivers do and feel at 13 500 feet in the air, our facilities have been used by the Department of National Defense for paratrooper training. This extraordinary experience is in a completely safe, supervised environment. No jumping or falling is involved. In our vertical wind tunnel, you float a few meters above trampoline-type netting. Your iFLY experience starts with an instructional video. You will then be paired with an instructor who will demonstrate and explain proper position and safety. After learning about bodyflight, you will then receive a flight suit, helmet and safety goggles and you are ready to go! We welcome flyers from age 4 years on. There is no upper age limit.
