Preliminary Research/Proposal:

Research, using the GBC library resources (https://www.georgebrown.ca/llc), 3 -5 articles on how to best prepare yourself for an interview. Concepts include, but are not limited to: non verbal communication, interview language, behavioural question preparation, grooming and attire. Also, search the library resources for another 3-5 articles on being an Interviewer. Concepts include, but are not limited to: Interview techniques, preparation for an interviewer, and realistic job previews.

NOTE: You can use other resources other than the library, but remember that you are paying fees for this invaluable resource and that there are chat and support functions through the website to help you in your search for better articles than can be found on the first page of a GOOGLE search.

General Guidelines

  • Due Date: Week 6. Friday, 11:59pm

  • Interviewee: Up to 1000 words and at least 2 topics on preparing for an interview considered and supported by articles read and considered through the GBC library resources. 4 references considered meets expectations.
  • Interviewer: Up to 1000 words and at least 2 topics on preparing for an interview considered and supported by articles read and considered through the GBC library resources. 4 references considered meets expectations.
  • Conclusion: 125-200 words on the relevance/importance of researching and considering selection issues from the candidates and the employers viewpoint. 1 reference considered meets expectations.
