Imagine you are a manager at Construction Solutions. You are trying to improve diversity and inclusion in the workplace by making some changes to recruitment, training and other organisational processes.

Conduct a 15-minute role play meeting with at least two other learners acting as employees on your team. Communicate the information and plans to your employees.

• Communicate objectives and rationale to relevant stakeholders
• Obtain agreement and endorsement for diversity and inclusion objectives
• Establish targets in collaboration with them.

Case Study B - Diversity in the workplace Construction Solutions has recently determined that it has a poor diversity record with its recruitment. The company has a predominantly male workforce and wants to attract more females to apply for roles to improve diversity in the workplace. It wants to improve its diversity practices within the organisation, so it can become a better prospect for employment with diverse groups, and to generally improve on its business ethos. The company currently advertises its jobs in the following ways: Industry magazines such as Construction Weekly On their own website Social media.
