I feel that marketing is a valuable skill to learn. Being able to put marketing skills on a resume could help you stand out, and knowing how to market yourself and your other skills during an interview or even through the resume itself can provide a leg up over others who may be applying. Personally, I am considering starting my own health coaching business and these marketing concepts will help me voice why my service is valuable. I think marketing is at least a tiny part of every job we apply for - even a server plays a part in marketing as being the face of the restaurant for that particular table. If a person can understand that, they could easily provide further value to their employer, increasing chances of promotion or a raise. ^ less I feel that marketing is a valuable skill to learn.
