REPLY TO THIS DISCUSSION POST: WITH ONE SOURCE- JUST REPLY TO THEM

THIS WAS THE QUESTION: Assume you were hired to design a managed care organization targeted to baby boomers in Bronx, New York, a city with a large diverse, multicultural community. How would you make this service offering unique to respond to the major trends of the target market?

Baby boomers are the largest generation in a long time to push through America's health-care structure. Baby boomers are the first generation to make decisions for both their relatives as well as themselves. As a result, baby boomer decisions are extremely important, and many of them are turning to the internet to make their decisions. Web or e-services can be used to design any "managed health care organization" for the baby boomers of the Bronx.

In comparison to previous generations, the current generation of Baby Boomers is suffering from more chronic diseases in terms of health. The majority of adults in this age group suffer from at least one of six chronic conditions, including high cholesterol, hypertension, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, or cancer. My design would provide extra medical services for the elderly baby boomers, who face greater health challenges.

My design would also consider in-home care for patients who require immediate medical attention. Because home health care is one of the fastest growing segments in the health care industry, it should be included. This patient demographic is also interested in alternative medicine. As a result, alternative medicine therapies would be covered in my design as well.
