reply to this post.There is no proof that the lack of use of marijuana would decrease the use of heroin. Many factors could be a causal event behind this problem. There could be other factors interfering with the outcome. Correlation does not prove causation. There is no validity in the statement that decreasing the incidence of marijuana smoking would cause a reduction in heroin use. It is a hypothesis that needs to be confirmed
