$1$x Domain Controller with Active Directory Domain Services and Active Directory Certificate Services Certificate Authority

$1$x Member Server with IIS

$1$x Windows $10$ Domain joined machine

Please provide a diagram of your environment and screenshots with descriptions of how you set up everything in this assignment. During your POC the professor will ask you to show them how you got everything working. Please refer to the rubric for information on grading.

Steps:

$1)$ Install your first Windows Server with hostname lastname$-$DC$1.$

$2)$ Promote your first Windows Server to a domain controller with domain name lastname.local.

$3)$ Install your second Windows Server with hostname lastname$-$IIS and join it to lastname.local.

$4)$ Install your Windows client with hostname Lastname$-$C$1$ and join it to lastname.local.

$5)$ Create an OU structure and one security group per department with test users following best practices for the below departments.

a$.$ Sales

b$.$ Marketing

c$.$ IT

d$.$ Faculty

$6)$ Install Active Directory Certificate Services and configure your lastname$-$DC$1$ as a Certificate Authority.

$7)$ Install IIS on your member server.

$8)$ Edit the default website to use HTTPS with a signed certificate from your Certificate Authority.

$9)$ Test the website with your client$$s machine. The certificate MUST show trusted from the client.
