Researching a Destination Assignment:

Pick a place that you would like to visit. make a list of things it would be important to know about the local culture before taking a trip there. Research the chosen destination to make a rationale for visiting that destination and to identify the preparation needed to navigate the culture. Include ideas for authentic tourism that involve interactions with locals and visits to meaningful cultural sites. You can gather useful information from tourist bureaus, travel books, books that focus on the relevant culture, history books, and so on. You may choose to interview someone from the location itself (a student from that culture or a friend who has been there) if possible. make a full summary about your chosen destination, focusing on issues related to the culture and any other aspects you deem important.
