The Chi square is the study about the outcome evaluation of new vocational rehabilitation program for recently paroled inmates. With 60 participants in total, half of the participants were enrolled in the program (intervention group) and the other thirty is on the waiting list (the comparison group). The study was conducted in order to determine if there's a relationship of the program intervention to employment of the participant, whether they can hold full or part time jobs. The study was done by probation officers of all the participants by doing a short survey.

Because humans vary in many ways , researchers usually want to demonstrate the equivalence of the experimental and control groups before an experiment.
