respond to: Hello everyone, The group that I will be talking about will be a group that my friend and I are part of. I feel like this group is currently finding itself in the norming phase. The reason why I feel like this group is in the norming phase is because during the forming stage, everyone in the group is getting to know one another while the goals and the roles have not been clearly stated. At the same time, based on what I have seen and heard it seems that this group is already working on teamwork and communication which means that we have moved beyond the first stage of getting to know one another and we have understood the group's goals and roles. The second phase is storming this stage would involve conflicts and power struggles as each group member would try to put their ideas and challenges to each other. I do agree that some conflicts will always remain present but the focus on teamwork and communication would show that we are actively working to find solutions to the issues and are looking for common ground showing that we moving out of the storming phase.
