Save Answer Assume that a computer on a LAN at BU has just instantiated on the network, and the user requests a web page via a single HTTP request to a computer connected to a different subnet somewhere on the BU Campus.

Describe how this message would be processed through all the layers of each device in the Internet model.

Your description should include the processing for both the sending and receiving devices of this HTTP request.

Assume the following:

Both Devices are on Different Subnets.

No Cache Data exists in the initiating devices local Cache.

The initiating device is connected on it's LAN via a Switch.

The initiating device exists on one subnet connected to the campus backbone via a Router.

The Server is also located on a different subnet connected to a Switch and Router.

Both Routers have a connection to the campus Backbone and thus know the MAC address of each interface..

There is a DNS server located on the local backbone.

Make sure to consider / address the following at a minimum:

identify and briefly describe the layers and their respective processing of each device in the Internet model.

Make sure to include the protocol used at each layer except the physical layer, including the applicable headers and trailers. make sure to include ALL steps the packet takes !
