SCENARIO #$1$: THE ALUMNIThe scenario: You $($the alumni$)$ graduated from Towson University $5$ years ago. You are a proud TU alumni $-$ you have a TU license plate holder, a TU pendant in your office at work, and your dog even has at TU leash. You were a basketball player at Towson University and still love to go to the games. It's March and you are extremely excited when Towson University's men's basketball team makes it into the NCAA March Madness Tournament. Later in the week, a story comes out that states that TU's team is no longer eligible to participate in the tournament because the team has violated the NCAA's standards on academic misconduct. As the story continues to develop, information is released that Towson University basketball team members were allowed to turn in papers purchased online for credit in their courses.You're currently up for a promotion at work. You provide the President of the company with a copy of your resume at the beginning of an interview. The President reads over your resume and notices that you graduated from Towson University. The President makes a joke about TU's recent news coverage. The President continues reading your resume and notices that you have Captain of the Towson University Basketball Team listed as a leadership experience. The President then goes on to ask you if you earned your degree and continues to make comments throughout the interview regarding if you bought your answers to the interview questions online. You can't tell if the President was joking or serious about their comments during your interview.Please use the paper provided to brainstorm ideas for the following questions: Why does academic integrity matter to the alumni?
