Scenario$/$Background for Discussion Question

Bones$-$R$-$Us$,$ an outpatient, not$-$for$-$profit, multi$-$specialty orthopedic clinic needs to purchase a new EHR to support their growing business. Their old EHR does not meet the requirements of several new laws and documentation requirements. The Bones$-$R$-$Us Clinic sees patients MondayFriday from $6$ am to $7pm,$ Monday through Friday and performs outpatient surgeries $($arthroscopic$/$exploratory surgery, joint wrist joint repair, carpel tunnel syndrome surgery, etc.$),$ diagnostic services $($film$/$imaging$),$ occupational and physical therapy services, new and return patient consultations, and other rehabilitation services.
