Select a project you have already completed, one you have been thinking about doing, or make up a project. You'll develop a work breakdown structure (detailed project plan) and report activity against it. Meaning, you'll initiate, plan, and execute the project. Remember, keep the project simple but with enough elements to experience the phases of project management.

The project must have the following characteristics: - Description of the project (about 120 words) - Include at least three other team members on the project team. - Describe the estimated time needed to complete the project. The project is expected to take more than three months to complete. (around 60 words). - Describe how you estimated the time your chosen project would probably take to complete (about 60 words). - Include a list of the major cost components as well as the time of the people. The project must have a cost of at least $5,000 to complete. Remember to include the cost of everyone's time when estimating the cost of the project. Assume that most people's time is between $20-$100 per hour. - List the project team members, sponsor, and project manager. - State the key assumption that has been made on certain aspects of the proposal where there may be missing information. - Provide an initial estimate of the costs (this estimate should include a range of $50,000 to $80,000. Note: your project does not need to be a $50,000 + project). - List at least two of the potential benefits that the customer (sponsor) can expect upon successful completion of this project.
