Undertake a critical analysis of the advertisements using one cultural framework of your

choice. Guidance on suitable video format and creation will be provided as part of your course.

NB. The advertisements chosen for comparison must be from the same brand/company, e.g.,

British Airways in England and India. We recommend these are in English only, if either of the

advertisements are not in English, please provide a translation and signpost points of parity.

The assessment should include:

1. Introduction to the adverts (please provide a link to the original adverts so the marker

can review prior to grading - do not include playback of the videos within your

presentation time);

2. Introduction to the markets and a critical discussion of their culture using the cultural

framework you have chosen;

3. Conduct a reflective critical comparison of the adverts using relevant theories;

4. Provide a suitable conclusion;

5. Reference list (excluded from time limit)
